This set of iterations focuses on cleaning up the part where the different layers of the skin material meet. At this point, the material fans out quite messily.

I made the ends of the skin material longer so I can have excess material to trim off. I tried using the top most layer as a template and cutting the layers underneath according. While the result is neater, I think it looks a little strange with the long piece of material hanging out.

Rather than just trimming one edge of the layers, I trimmed off two edges, and it gave a really neat result. I will be using this in my final model.
